How to Install or Reinstall McAfee LiveSafe
When you start using a new computer system you are asked to register in the pre-installed LiveSafe product. You will be prompted to share your details with McAfee. LiveSafe will be automatically setup for you like normal computer’s setup process. You can still activate the LiveSafe on your system even if you deny this option by choosing McAfee icon and creating an account.
Keep in mind: For Mac users, it is recommended to open the Downloads folder to check whether it does not have any previous version of McAfee installer .dmg file. In case if you find the file with same name, rename it.
How to install it on the computer system?
- Go to McAfee site after opening the web browser from other Mac or computer system you are installing on.
- Tap on My Account, Sign in.
- Click on Log In after entering your email address and password. If you don’t have McAfee account then select Are you a new user? Register Now. You can also select Remember Me option if you want the site to remember your details.
- Tap on My Account.
- Click on Download button once you select the right LiveSafe subscription. You can also pick the additional programs for installation.
- Click on I Agree after reading the End User License Agreement for accepting the terms and continue with the downloading and installation process.
- Now follow the instructions for installing and configuring the McAfee software.
